Tips to track when practicing Breathing or Pranayama:-
- Locate a quiet place where you won't be diverted. If doing the exercises inside, confirm the window is open to let plenty of fresh air into the room.
- At first carry out pranayama lying down and then increasingly aim to sit upright with your spine straight.
- Breathe consistently through the nose throughout the postures.
- Never strain your breathing in pranayama.
- Breathe intensely and slowly.
- Progress slowly and cautiously.
- If you experience dizzy or light-headed, return to normal breathing.
- Inquire a friend to stay with you when trying out a new method.
- Do not hurry things and practice all exercises as leisurely as you can.
